 Ian Kim, Ella Baker Center for Human Rights Ian Kim is Director of the "Green-Collar Jobs Campaign" at the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights. He coordinates a coalition called the Oakland Apollo Alliance that advocates for policies in the city of Oakland to create "green-collar" jobs (quality jobs in industries like renewable energy, alternative fuel, and green building), especially for low-income young adults and those with barriers to employment. Ian holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, and has a background in communications, media strategy and Internet-based organizing. Ian and his wife, Sunjung, are often laughing at the antics of their two-year-old daughter, Minju.
